Prior to joining Wangheng, Mr. Liu worked as a partner in a boutique criminal defense law firm in Dalian, where he accumulated rich experience in criminal defense and earned a good reputation for his superb legal skills and tenacious defense attitude. Mr. Liu has represented clients in various economic crimes, public office crimes and other cases, and has achieved good defense results. In the case of fraudulent loan acquisition by a group company in Dalian with an amount of nearly 1 billion Yuan, Mr. Liu successfully represented the client in obtaining the Dalian Municipal Procuratorate's discretionary decision not to prosecute.
Mr. Liu has also represented a number of commercial banks in difficult case litigation and non-performing asset collection, with a cumulative recovery of nearly 100 million Yuan.
